Yes, you can sell your trailer on site. It must be less than 15 yrs. old and pass a site inspection by Tuckahoe's management (i.e. If your trailer is a 2007, it can't be sold after 12/31/2021). You must pay a 5% for sale fee (5% of the final sale price shown on the Bill of Sale for the entire package). A $500.00 deposit is required up front at which time your listing gets added to the "Tuckahoe for Sale List." The $500.00 will be refunded ONLY if your trailer is not sold. The balance of the 5% For Sale Fee must be paid by THE SELLER prior to the buyers taking over the campsite.
Your camping equipment (trailer, deck, shed, sunroom, golf cart, etc.) is worth MUCH MORE sitting on a seasonal site in Tuckahoe with no vacancies & a long waiting list. The PRIVILEGE of being allowed to sell on our campsites provides multiple benefits to you. Keep in mind, you have the option to avoid the 5% for sale fee by removing your own equipment from Tuckahoe & selling it yourself OFF the premises.
Yes, but there is a 3% convenience fee to pay with a card on all “registration” transactions (anything other than store retail items). We welcome cash or checks if you want to avoid the fee.
Yes, just place your name/site# on the list on the bulletin board with frequency (once-a-week, or as-needed). Please call the office if you are in need of a one-time grass cut.
If you do not request your grass to be cut, overgrown grass gets cut and billed at $30/cut. There is extra wear and tear on community mowers as well as extra time/effort to cut it when it’s overgrown, hence the additional cost.
We recommend PASCO Battery Warehouse in Millsboro. (302-934-8315)
Yes, you can store your boat on your site between your site posts for free (may be subject to off season grass cutting fees). Alternatively, you may store it in our boat storage facility where you will be given a designated parking spot for an annual or seasonal boat storage fee. You must show an up-to-date boat registration in the office to receive a free boat storage sticker that is to be displayed on the front of the boat trailer, along with clearly marked site # stickers. For more information about our boat storage policy see our Tuckahoe's Rules & Regulations.
You may TEMPORARILY park it on your site if it will fit. You must obtain a temporary parking pass to park it anywhere else on Tuckahoe property. The parking pass cover 3 free days and is an additional $5 per day fee.
Immediate family only may use your trailer when you are not here. Absolutely NO SUB-LEASING! Sub-leasing is grounds for automatic eviction.
Yes, however, the same rules apply for guest camping. It is $75 /night for a tent or a camper.
*Check to be sure all breakers are on, inside your trailer AND at your electric box.

*If that does not fix it, report the issue to the office staff.
